About the team

Who we are — and why we understand lease contracts from both sides

Lexpremise is a Moscow-based team of practising leasing lawyers. We have deliberately narrowed our practice to lease law for commercial real estate, because the most expensive risks in this field are not in the Civil Code — they are in the way large Russian landlords structure their template contracts, in their operating-expense practices, in the way the Russian court system treats specific lease clauses.

Our lawyers spent years inside the in-house teams of major Russian and international real-estate players — so we read every lease contract from both sides of the table. For foreign clients entering or operating in Russia, this means: we know the landlord's drafting logic before you open the document.
